The Need to Read: Stop the I’m Boreds! July 9, 2012
I had a great time Monday, July 9 in my Need to Read segment on WBTV. Let me tell you, I love love love children’s books. Whenever I take them to the studio I’m always half a second late to my tease shot because I’m reading one of the books in the corner.
This gal is a big kid trapped in a tall woman’s body. I mean, I named my cat SkippyJon Jones after my favorite books for all time!
Check out the great children’s books I brought to the studio today. They include a young boy learning a beautiful Civil Rights lesson, a young girl experiencing a not-so-queen-bee moment, and an easy-to-read chapter book with a funny name!
